Grammarly acquires Superhuman

On Tuesday, Grammarly announced the acquisition of the AI-powered email company, Superhuman. While no official financials were disclosed in the announcement, Superhuman was last valued at $825 million.

Superhuman joins Coda—the all-in-one doc platform Grammarly acquired in 2024—in Grammarly’s bold pivot from writing assistant to full-blown AI productivity platform.

What this means for you: Grammarly isn’t just fixing your typos anymore. It’s building your entire workday.

With control over how you write, communicate, and collaborate, Grammarly is positioning itself as the command center for modern knowledge work. These moves put it on a collision course with tech giants like Microsoft (with Copilot baked into Office) and Google (via Gemini in Workspace), both racing to dominate the AI productivity stack.

The White House Goes All-In on AI Education

In a bold move to prep the next generation for an AI powered future, the White House just rallied over 60 major players including Apple, Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, and more to sign the “Pledge to America’s Youth: Investing in AI Education.”

The pledge? Over the next four years, these companies and organizations have committed to supporting K–12 AI education by providing a mix of resources (think funding, curriculum, teacher training, tech tools, and mentorship). Partnering with the White House Task Force on AI Education to make AI learning accessible in every classroom and inspire the next generation to thrive in an AI-powered world.

What this means for you: the jobs of today will not be the jobs of tomorrow. Like all technology, disruption to the status quo is expected, but the scale at which AI has taken over modern jobs is accelerating faster than the talent pool.

While no official action plan or curriculum has been announced, you can follow along for updates here.
